Sawankhalok celadons
Sawankhalok celadons from the kilns of Sukhothai are highly valued. Their colour results from high-firing green glazes with reduced iron oxide content in a kiln with an insufficient supply of oxygen. The colour varies greatly; it is homogenous, thick and the best examples are from the mid-15th century displaying a charismatic blue-green hue (celadon). By the late 15th century, this colour degenerated to an olive green.
oxigénio. Apesar da sua tonalidade ser bastante variável, surge mais homogénea e espessa, nos meados do século XV e os melhores exemplares possuem uma tonalidade verde-azulada (céladon). No final do século XV, esta cor degenerou num tom verde azeitona.
